Grayscale hosted “How Data Integration is used in the Public Sector” through a live seminar
On the 30th of May 2022, we have successfully hosted our second episode of the webinar series “The World of Digitalization: Data Integration & Automation in the Public Sector”.
In the first episode of our series “The World of Digitalization”, we hosted a #webinar where we introduced you to #Data #Integration and how it can revolutionize your business operations, reduce expenses, and oil the gears to crucial parts of your operation.
In today’s second episode, we were joined by Tunku Izzudin Shah bin Tengku Abdul Hamid Thani , the General Manager of Grayscale Technologies, Mr. Tze Meng Tan, Head of Technology Verticals Digital Investment Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and Mr. Huck Siang LIM IT & Digital Expert & Independent Advisor where they discussed the topic of “Opportunities & Challenges for Data Integration & Automation in the Malaysian Public Sector”.
Regarding data integration availability and usage in Malaysia , Mr. Tan Tze Meng, Head of Technology Verticals Digital Investment MDEC said: “The technology is already here … the reason why it’s not available is because there is no data integration between the government and the private sector right now”
In the other hand, Tunku Izzudin Shah, GM of Grayscale Technologies gave the following advice for beginners in the field stating : “If you are looking into a Data Integration project, start small. Don’t do a grand rollout to integrate everything in the company and I would also suggest to start with a non-consumer facing application.”
There was also a recorded video interview between Toni Pallaspuro, the Director of Information Management City of Järvenpää Finland, Asmo Urpilainen, Chief Product Officer of Frends Enterprise iPaaS, and Antti Toivanen VP, the Head of Sales & Marketing of Frends on how integration and APIs has affected the City of Järvenpää Finland, the reason why are integration and APIs important to public sector and the relationship between Data Integration & Automation in the Public Sector
We thank each and every one of our attendees for attending our lunch seminar and participating in the fruitful discussion with the panel. Stay tuned for the third episode of our event series coming soon.
